How do I know if I'm logging into the real Westpac online banking on my computer, phone or tablet?

  1. Check the website address in the browser address bar starts with:

    Westpac One® online https://bank.westpac.co.nz/wone/app.html#login
    Westpac One for Business https://login.westpac.co.nz/login
    Business Online https://bol.westpac.co.nz/s1gcb/logon/sbuser
    Corporate Online https://online.corp.westpac.co.nz/

If the website address does not look like this, it's not an official Westpac web page. We recommend bookmarking the correct login page for easy access.

  2. Your browser shows an icon (like a padlock, shield or three lines) in front of the address.
    • If you select the padlock (or other icon) it shows the web page is secure.
    • Some browsers also confirm it's a Westpac New Zealand web page.
    • The https in the address means all communications between you and the website are encrypted.

How do I know I'm downloading the real app?

  1. Check the store.
Only download from trusted stores like Apple App Store for iPhones and iPads and Google Play Store for Android phones and tablets.

  2. Check the developer is Westpac New Zealand Limited.
You can follow a link to Westpac’s website from the app store.

  3. Look for typos or spelling mistakes in the description.
Mistakes in the description can show the app is a fake.

  4. Double check it's the Westpac One® New Zealand app.
