EFTPOS & Debit cards - Fees.
1 The Westpac PayTag terms and conditions, as well as the terms and conditions relating to any cards or accounts that your Westpac PayTag links to, apply. 2 A foreign currency fee is charged when you make a purchase or cash withdrawal in a foreign currency, and also applies to any fees and charges charged by the overseas bank or vendor in relation to the transaction. This fee is also charged when you make online purchases in a foreign currency. 3 These fees do not apply if you use your Westpac card in an ATM belonging to a member of the Global ATM Alliance. The fee saving is subject to change. Global ATM Alliance member banks are subject to change. All other international and standard fees apply, including foreign currency conversion fees – refer to Transaction and Service fees brochure for details.
The annual fee is waived for:
- Customers 19 years and over (fee waived for the first year)
- Customers under 19 years
- Customers on a Career Starter Pac, Tertiary Pac or Graduate Pac, for the life of the Pacs
- SuperGold Card holders (fee waived for the first year)
Dishonour/payment failed - Fees.

1 Recovery of prepayment loss/cost may also apply as per loan agreement. 2 Fee is inclusive of $3 government registration/release fee where applicable. Additional disbursement charges may apply in some circumstances (eg where complexity and/or negotiation of non standard documentation is required) or where no solicitor is involved. Cash handling/deposits - Fees.
Cash handling will be charged to Westpac customers when the amount of cash deposited or withdrawn to an account in any charge month^ is $75,000 or more at the following rates (the fee applies to the full amount deposited). Additional costs may apply for special requests such as large coin or cash deposits and withdrawals, and non-Westpac customers.
Cheques - Fees.
Clearance fee - No fee is charged if only two items are deposited into a personally held Westpac Access, Westpac Earner, Choices Everyday or Savings account in any charge month. If more than two items are presented, all items will be charged. Stop cheque - There is no fee for lost or stolen cheques which are blank or unsigned.
International services - Fees.
Business Online - Fees & charges.
All fees will be charged to your nominated billing account. You can view a breakdown of your monthly charges by using the Business Online Bank 'reports' function (click on the 'Balances and Reporting' option on your main menu). Find more information on business account fees, here.
