Roadside assistance.
RoadWise® offers 24/7 roadside help across New Zealand when your car breaks down or won’t start, so you can get back on the road with confidence.
Benefits.
- 24/7 roadside help. Get help any time of the day or night if your car breaks down and you need help to get moving again.
- Cover for most breakdowns. Help with common issues like flat batteries, flat tyres, running out of fuel, lock‑outs, and minor roadside repairs to get you back on the road.
- Towing when needed. If you can’t safely drive your car, we’ll arrange towing to the nearest repairer or place of safety, including if your vehicle is towing a trailer, boat or caravan.
- Vehicle‑based cover. RoadWise roadside assistance applies to your car, not the driver, so anyone driving your vehicle can call for help if something goes wrong.
- Support for electric vehicles. If your EV runs out of charge, we’ll tow you to the nearest charging station so you can recharge and continue your journey.
What's covered.
RoadWise is an optional benefit you can add to your car and vehicle insurance cover. The cost for RoadWise will be shown on your quote and added to your premium.
