If your phone or tablet has been stolen or you suspect fraud.

Call us immediately day or night on 0800 400 600 as soon as you suspect:

  1. Your phone, tablet or SIM card has been stolen
  2. Someone else knows, or may know, your passcode or Westpac card PIN, or knows how to unlock your phone or tablet
  3. The phone number for your phone or tablet is transferred to someone else without your permission and you’re suddenly disconnected from the mobile service. If this happens, you may have been subject to mobile phone fraud
  4. There has been an unlawful, fraudulent or improper use of a Westpac card (through Google Pay™, Apple Pay™ or otherwise)
  5. You suspect a security breach has occurred in relation to your phone, tablet, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

To help protect your money, we may stop your Westpac Mastercard® from being used with Google Pay or Apple Pay and we may also suspend use of your physical Westpac Mastercard. 

If you’ve lost your phone or tablet.

You can:

You’ll be able to use your physical Westpac Mastercard as normal, and your Google Pay™ or Apple Pay™ will still work on other phones or tablets.

You’ll need to add your card to your Google Wallet™ or Apple Wallet™ when you get a new phone or tablet.

Google Pay and Apple Pay are available to all eligible Westpac debit and credit Mastercard customers. Customers also need a compatible Android or Apple device.
