2. Set up a direct debit or automatic payment.

Use direct debit

If you want to automatically pay your credit card each month, you can set up a Direct Debit. Choose to pay either the full statement balance (to avoid interest and fees), or a fixed amount or the minimum payment.

To set this up, complete a Direct Debit form, and we’ll automatically take the payment from your bank account to pay your credit card account each month if there is enough money in that account for the payment to be processed.

  • It takes three business days to set up the new Direct Debit.  If you want to change your direct debit then you’ll need to tell us at least three business days before the direct debit is due.
  • If you get a new card with a new card number, you’ll need to complete the form again. You’ll also need to change over any subscription services you may have (such as Netflix) and regular payments (like your power company, telecommunications or public transport provider) - to your new card.

Print the direct debit form and take it to your nearest branch.

Set up an automatic payment

If you only want to pay a fixed, consistent amount toward your credit card debt each month you can set up an automatic payment. You’ll need to make sure there is enough money in that account for the payment to be processed each month.

How much do I need to pay?

Check your balance in digital banking

Airpoints Business Mastercard and BusinessPLUS Mastercard.

If you have an Airpoints Business Mastercard or a BusinessPLUS Mastercard, as a business credit card, the balance of the card should ultimately be settled by the business. This means that any repayments should either be settled from an account of the business or from your personal bank account (as the cardholder) and then reimbursed by the business.

Things you should know.

1If you make only a minimum payment each month, you will pay more interest and it will take you longer to pay off the unpaid balance.
