How do I make a payment in Westpac One?

When you pay someone in Westpac One® digital banking, we check names match account numbers – to give you greater confidence you’re paying the right person with the Confirmation of Payee service.

In the app:

1. Select Pay & Transfer from the bottom menu
   
2. Select Pay
   
3. Select From then choose which account to pay from
   
4. Select To then choose who you want to pay
   
5. Select Payees then choose from your saved list if you’ve paid them before.  
   

   If you’re paying someone new, select New or overseas to enter their account details.

   • Select Pay to a New payee on the New or overseas screen
   • Enter their name and account details
   • Select Check details to check that the name of the person you’re paying matches their account number with the Confirmation of Payee service
   • Select Done
     
     
6. Select Details and enter any reference details you want to appear on your account or the payee’s account. Then select Done
   
   
7. Enter the amount you want to pay
8. Select Continue
9. Check your payment details and then select Confirm.

In online banking:

1. Select Pay & transfer
2. Select From then choose which account to pay from
3. Select To then choose who you want to pay
4. Select Payees then choose from your saved list if you’ve paid them before 
   

   If they’re not saved, select New or overseas to enter their account details

   • Select Pay to a New payee on the New or overseas screen and enter their name and account details
   • Select Check details to confirm that the name of the person you’re paying matches their account number with the Confirmation of Payee service
   • Select Done
5. Select Details and enter any reference details you want to appear on your account or the payee’s account. Then select Done.
6. Enter the amount you want to pay
7. Select Continue
8. Check your payment details and then select Confirm.
