Blocking your card

You can now temporarily block your card through Westpac One® online banking. Card Blocker allows you to temporarily block and unblock your card instantly if it's been lost. When you find your card, you can simply unblock it.

Reporting your card lost or stolen

Contact us immediately using the details below if your debit or credit card has been lost, stolen or your PIN has been disclosed. We'll issue you with a replacement card so that your old card will no longer work. Please note, a fee of $10 including standard postage applies. International delivery may incur additional courier charges.

Things you should know.

1 Apple Pay is available to all eligible Westpac debit and credit Mastercard customers. Excludes Mastercard Business Card, Westpac Business Prepaid Mastercard, hotpoints® Visa, hotpoints Gold Visa, hotpoints Portfolio Gold Visa, Prepaid and Global Currency cards. Customers also need a compatible Apple Device.

2 Provided you notify us as soon as possible, have not acted fraudulently or negligently, and have complied with the card's Conditions of Use.

3 Westpac cards cannot be used in the following countries:

  • Crimea region of Ukraine
  • Cuba
  • Iran
  • North Korea
  • Darfur region of Sudan
  • Syria
