Blocking your card

You can now temporarily block your card through Westpac One® online banking. Card Blocker allows you to temporarily block and unblock your card instantly if it's been lost. When you find your card, you can simply unblock it.

Reporting your card lost or stolen

Contact us immediately using the details below if your debit or credit card has been lost, stolen or your PIN has been disclosed. We'll issue you with a replacement card so that your old card will no longer work. Note, we don't charge a fee for replacement cards, but courier costs in New Zealand and overseas may apply. 

In New Zealand:
  • Call 0800 888 111 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week). If you are calling us after 8pm NZ time, press '1'.
  • Visit your nearest Westpac branch.
From overseas:
  • Call +64 9 914 8026 (24 hours a day). If you are calling us after 8pm NZ time, press '1'
  • Visit any branch displaying the Mastercard® and Cirrus acceptance marks as shown on your card.
