How to choose a fund.
To make the most of your KiwiSaver investment, you’ll need to understand how funds work and think about which fund works best for your life stage. When comparing our funds below, ask yourself these two simple questions:
Compare our funds.
Return - past performance is not a reliable indication of future performance. Returns for any fund will vary and may be negative at times, which means your balance can be less than what you invested.
Risk - the Default Balanced Fund started on 1 December 2021 and the High Growth Fund started on 25 September 2024. This means these funds do not have a full five-year return history. To calculate the risk indicator for the Default Balanced Fund, market index returns and actual returns have been used. To calculate the risk indicator for the High Growth Fund, only market index returns have been used. As a result, the risk indicators for these funds may provide a less reliable indication of the funds’ potential future volatility.
