If your home is accidentally damaged or destroyed, home cover could help you rebuild or repair your home.
- Your home is covered for accidental damage, including fire, flooding, natural disaster or burglary.
- If you have a Westpac home loan and your home is destroyed, your Westpac home loan could be covered for up to $1,500 a month for up to three months.
- For landlords, you can add optional benefits for an additional premium to protect your home from deliberate damage by tenants.
- 30-day free look period - if you decide the policy is not for you, let us know and we'll refund any premiums you’ve paid.

Add extra cover for landlords for an additional premium.
Extended cover for chattels
Add an additional $10,000 of cover to protect your chattels (e.g. appliances, furniture, blinds and drapes) for accidental damage. This is in addition to the automatic cover of $5,000.
Deliberate damage protection
Add cover to protect your house and chattels against deliberate damage or theft by a tenant. Also covers loss of rent if your house is uninhabitable as a result, up to 12 months up to a maximum of $25,000.
