How can I control gambling transactions with digital banking?

You can control gambling on your credit or debit cards in Westpac One® digital banking.

Easily stop or allow most gambling transactions –  at casinos, lottery stations and gambling or lottery websites and apps. This won’t affect EFTPOS transactions where you select CHQ or SAV. 

If you decide to allow gambling transactions again, there will be a two day waiting period before you can use your card for gambling.

 

In the app:

  1. Go to Cards from the bottom menu
  2. If you have more than one card, swipe to choose the card you want to stop gambling transactions on
  3. Turn Gambling on or off, then select Confirm.

 

In online banking:

  1. Go to Manage my cards from the menu on the left if you're on a computer. If you're on your phone, go to Cards from the bottom menu
  2. Choose the card, turn Gambling on or off, then select Confirm.

Things you should know.

If you're not set up for digital banking, you can call us on 0800 400 600 weekdays between 7am and 8pm and on weekends or public holidays between 8am to 5pm.
