Can I turn contactless tap and go payments on and off?
You can turn tap & go off for your physical card anytime in Westpac One® digital banking – you’ll still be able to use it with your phone, tablet or smart watch.
In the app:
- Select Cards from the menu at the bottom
- Choose the card, then turn the Contactless payment switch Off or On.
In online banking:
- Select Manage my cards from the menu on the left if you're on a computer.
If you're on your phone, choose Cards from the menu at the bottom - Choose the card, then turn the Contactless payment switch Off or On.
Things you should know.
If you're not set up for digital banking, you can call us on 0800 400 600 weekdays between 7am and 8pm and on weekends or public holidays between 8am to 5pm.
