Can I turn contactless on and off?
You can only turn contactless payments off and on for your physical card. You'll still be able to use contactless payments using your mobile device or smart watch.
Login to Westpac One® using the Westpac One app or an internet browser.
Go to the Cards tab in the Westpac One app, select the card and slide the 'Contactless payment' button to 'Off' or 'On'.
If you're using an internet browser, go to the 'Manage my Cards' section in Westpac One online banking select the card and slide the “Contactless payment” button to ‘Off’ or ‘On’.
If you're not set up for digital banking, call us on 0800 400 600 weekdays between 7am and 8pm and 8am to 5pm on weekends and public holidays and we can turn contactless payments off or on for you.
