Through our partnership with the iSPORT Foundation, we’re able to reach out to more New Zealand communities and help our young people to participate and be the best they can be in their sporting field.
About the partnership
Previously known as For Everyone, the foundation, which was founded by rugby greats Richie McCaw, Dan Carter and Ali Williams, focuses its support on inspiring young people to participate in sport and be the best they can be, no matter their circumstances.
iSPORT works with schools, and local, regional and national sporting bodies to identify individuals showing talent in their chosen sport, and with teams that need a helping hand, to give them an equal opportunity to participate and succeed.
The foundation also provides the resources needed for these teams and individuals to fund essential costs such as travel, accommodation, equipment, uniforms and competition fees.
Westpac and iSPORT have a shared vision of helping young people reach their goals, and together we can make a real difference.
If you’re a talented young athlete, or an amateur sports team between the ages of 12 and 18, and you meet the relevant criteria found on the iSPORT website, you can make a submission for funding here for individuals, or here for teams.
Funding decisions are made throughout the year with three funding rounds in February, May and September.
How you can help
Funding for the grants is generated through Westpac sponsorship, public donations and money raised through iSPORT events. If you’d like to make a donation or help in another way, check out the link below:
