Why have you charged my card rather than redeem my points after I enabled hotpoints Pay®?
To use hotpoints Pay, your credit card makes a normal purchase first. If you have enabled hotpoints Pay for your next purchase, it will automatically redeem your hotpoints® when your next eligible purchase is made. Then you'll see the corresponding dollar amount come back onto your credit card within two business days. We recommend you enable hotpoints Pay just before the purchase you want to use it for, so you know how your points will be used. You'll also earn hotpoints on the purchase amount.
