Where is the security code (CVC) for my Westpac Mastercard®?

On your physical Westpac Mastercard® and our prepaid cards, the security code (also known as card verification code, CVC or CVV) is the last three digits printed on the back of your card, on the right, under the card number.

The digital version of your debit or credit card in your Westpac One^® app has a dynamic security code that changes after 24 hours for added fraud protection.

To use your digital card and dynamic security code in the app:

1. Check you've got the latest version of the Westpac One app
2. Select Cards from the bottom menu
3. Swipe to choose the digital card you'd like to use
4. Select Card details to copy your cardholder name, number, expiry date and dynamic security code
5. Select Copy to copy your details to shop online.
