Because each person's circumstances are unique, the amount of time it takes to settle a deceased estate can vary quite a lot. In saying that, the earlier we receive all of the documentation we need the quicker we will be able to process the request. If formal administration is not required, we will likely be able to release the bank account monies upon the completion of a bank declaration form. If probate or letters of administration are needed, there will likely be a lengthy delay in waiting for the High Court to grant the order. In addition, the executors/administrators may also choose to further delay payment to the beneficiaries (as per the legislative rules).
