How do I get set up to use digital banking while I'm overseas?
You can use the Westpac One ® app or online banking from most places in the world. You can’t use it in countries that are sanctioned by the government and you need to download the app before you travel to the European Union as downloads aren’t available there.
Before you go overseas.
- Tell us about your travel plans in digital banking
- Add or change your phone number in digital banking at least a month before travel as overseas payments are paused for 37 days after any changes. For urgent requests, call us on 0800 400 600.
- Check or add your security challenge questions so you can reset your password yourself and verify your payments while you’re away. We'll let you know if we spot any unusual activity (logins, transactions or changes).
While you're away.
- If you have any problems, or think your digital banking has been compromised, contact us immediately on +64 9 912 8000 (7am to 11pm New Zealand time, 7 days a week). International charges may apply.
