What are cashback offers?
Cashback offers are offers tailored to you, based on where you’ve shopped, and linked to your hotpoints Mastercard. When you activate an offer and make an eligible transaction with the participating retailer, you’ll receive cashback as a credit into your card account.
Offers get refreshed monthly, so there's often something new to discover. There’s no need for codes or vouchers — just activate the offer and then your card does the work.

How to get cashback.
1. Activate the cashback offer
Log in to Westpac One® and go to Rewards & hotpoints, then Offers. Choose an offer and tap Activate. It’s then ready to use.
2. Shop with your card
Use your hotpoints Mastercard with the retailer before the offer expires, and make sure your purchase meets the offer conditions.
3. Get cashback
Your cashback will usually be credited back onto your card within a few days but could take up to 14 days.

If you have a hotpoints Mastercard and are eligible to receive cashback offers, you can access them through the Rewards & hotpoints button in Westpac One – your new digital rewards destination.
In Rewards & hotpoints, you can:
- Activate your cashback offers in New Zealand or while travelling
- View and manage your hotpoints
- Turn on hotpoints Pay to spend points like cash
- Access Music Rewards for exclusive presales and preferred tickets
- Redeem your hotpoints for gift cards, charity donations or contributions to an existing Westpac KiwiSaver Scheme^ account.

2 Interest free days give you access to interest-free credit - if you pay off your balance in full (excluding balance transfers) by the payment due date. Cash advances, balance transfers and interest rates and fees are not purchases and have no interest free days.
3 hotpoints Pay® terms apply. You need at least $3 value of hotpoints® to use hotpoints Pay. Only a hotpoints Mastercard® (or linked Payment Instrument) can be used for hotpoints Pay. Once activated, the next eligible transaction made on your card will use your hotpoints (up to the hotpoints Pay value) and a credit for that dollar amount will appear on your account within the next two business days.
