Westpac Red Bags are used to make quick, safe and secure deposits at our Smart ATMs.

How to register.

Download the registration form and complete your application.

Return it to your nearest Westpac branch or Relationship Manager.

Once your application is approved, you’ll receive your first set of Red Bags within seven business days.

How to use Red Bags.

  1. You’ll need to include a completed deposit slip with every Red Bag. You can order your deposit slips through any Westpac branch or your Relationship Manager.
  2. Prepare your Red Bag. You’ll find cash breakdown vouchers included with your Red Bag order. A cash breakdown voucher needs to be completed and included with each deposit.
  3. Deposit your Red Bag by following the steps on the Smart ATM. You’ll need to enter the account number, the deposit amount, and scan the Red Bag barcode to make a deposit. Find your nearest Westpac branch.

Things you should know.

You’ll need to provide the details of the person to be the ‘Nominated Conductor’, upon registration or when the person with responsibility for your Red Bags changes, by completing the Make changes to your Red Bag registration. The ‘Nominated Conductor’ is the person responsible for making, or directly supervising the making of, a cash deposit by filling and sealing the Red Bag even though it could be any staff member dropping off the bag.
