Changing banks can seem like a hassle, but we’ve done a lot of work to make the move easy.

Once your new account is approved, our team can handle most of the heavy lifting such as transferring your automatic payments and direct debits. You'll also be able to apply for loans and credit cards inside Westpac One® digital banking.

Once you've opened your Westpac account, visit your nearest branch and we’ll get you to sign an authorisation form.

Once we have the paperwork, we’ll get in touch with your old bank to complete the switch.
