Westpac Sustainability 2017 review
Westpac is committed to helping create a better New Zealand by enabling our customers, communities and people to prosper and grow.
2017 saw the end of our five-year sustainability strategy, which worked to address some of the big issues New Zealand is facing - environmental challenges, financial capability and demographic change. In our digital review, we share our highlights, challenges and performance against our 10 targets.
As we look to 2020, based on feedback from many of our customers and stakeholders, we’ve chosen three areas where we believe Westpac can make a positive difference. Check it out here and share your feedback with us to help us achieve a better New Zealand.
This contributes to Westpac Group’s Sustainability Report, which follows the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4 reporting framework. For full results for 2017 (which includes New Zealand), please see our Westpac Group Sustainability Report.
