WEGOTYOU discount promotion terms and conditions.

Westpac Insurance products are arranged by Westpac New Zealand Limited and underwritten by Tower Limited. 

1. These terms and conditions (Promotion Terms), Westpac's Privacy Policy and Tower's Privacy Statement apply to the "WEGOTYOU discount" Promotion (Promotion).
2. The Promoter is Tower Limited (Tower, us) of Level 5, 136 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010, New Zealand.
3. In these Promotion Terms:
   1. Tower means Tower Limited.
   2. Tower Premium means the base premium, being the amount of premium we charge you for your policy/policies before we add any taxes, levies and other amounts payable to third parties (including GST, Fire and Emergency levies and Natural Hazards Commission levies).
   3. Westpac means Westpac New Zealand Limited.
4. The Promotion commences at 12:00am Wednesday 1 July 2026 and ends at 11:59pm Saturday 19 September 2026 (Promotion Period).
5. Subject to these Promotion Terms, this Promotion is open to you and you will be an eligible customer if you use/quote the promo code ‘WEGOTYOU' (Promo Code):
   1. when you purchase any Eligible Policy (as defined in clause 7 below) from Westpac Insurance (underwritten by Tower) during the Promotion Period; or
   2. when you save an online quote for an Eligible Policy with Westpac Insurance during the Promotion Period and purchase the policy within 30 days after the expiry of the Promotion Period;
   3. the period of insurance for the Eligible Policy purchased under this Promotion begins within 49 days of the purchase date.

6.  This Promotion does not apply to an Eligible Customer who is a Westpac employee and receives a discount on Tower policies via an arrangement between Tower and Westpac.
7. For the purposes of this Promotion, an Eligible Policy means the following new Westpac Insurance branded policies (underwritten by Tower):
   1. House insurance (Premium, Plus and/or Standard policies);
   2. House insurance Landlord's Plus cover; and/or
   3. Contents insurance (Premium, Plus and/or Standard policies).
8. This Promotion does not apply to any Westpac Insurance policies underwritten by any insurer other than Tower.
9. If you are an Eligible Customer, then a one-off discount per Eligible Policy will be deducted from the first year's Tower Premium for each Eligible Policy purchased. The GST will then be added to result in a total amount as follows:
   1. Westpac Insurance House (including Landlord’s Plus) cover: $200 per Eligible Policy or
   2. Westpac Insurance Contents cover: $50 per Eligible Policy.
10. If you pay your first year’s premium for an Eligible Policy in instalments, the Discount will be spread across the instalments.
11. If an Eligible Policy does not run for the full annual policy period (for example, if there is a mid-term cancellation), the Discount applied will be pro-rated to the length of the Eligible Policy.
12. For the Discount to be applied to online purchases, you must enter the Promo Code correctly (i.e. exact spelling and no spaces) and for purchases in branch or over the phone, you must quote the Promo Code to the agent or banker.
13. The Promo Code must only be used once per Eligible Policy.
14. The Discount will not apply to any renewal of the Eligible Policy. The premium for renewal of an Eligible Policy will be assessed and set at the prevailing premium at the time of each such renewal.
15. The Discount cannot be exchanged for cash or any other benefit.
16. Policy terms, conditions, excesses, limits, sub-limits, exclusions and underwriting criteria apply in respect of all policies.
17. By purchasing any Eligible Policy using the Promo Code during the Promotion Period you are bound by these Promotion Terms.
18. Tower reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
    1. change or revoke the Discount to ensure that the Discount applied is correct for the purposes of these Promotion Terms;
    2. cancel this Promotion prior to expiry of the Promotion Period;
    3. add policies to the list of Eligible Policies; and/or
    4. change any other aspect of the Promotion at any time.
19. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram and you fully release Meta Platforms, Inc. from any liability or responsibility for or in connection with this Promotion.
20. Tower and Westpac will collect, hold, and use your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and our privacy obligations.
21. In accordance with the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to request access to and correction of your personal information held by Tower and/or Westpac.
22. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tower Limited, Westpac New Zealand Limited and their respective related companies and affiliates, employees and agents or bankers will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury, or cost suffered by any person arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Promotion.
23. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify a consumer's rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or any other statutory rights that the winner may have in relation to the prize.
24. Westpac general insurance products are arranged by Westpac and underwritten by Tower. None of Westpac Banking Corporation ABN 33 007 457 141 (incorporated in Australia), Westpac, or any member of the Westpac group of companies guarantee the obligations of, or any products issued by, Tower or any member of the Tower group of companies. Westpac will receive commission payments for arranging Tower policies.
25. These Promotion Terms are governed by New Zealand law and disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

1. These terms and conditions (Terms), apply to the "Be in to win one of 25 prizes of $2,000" Promotion (Promotion).
2. By purchasing an Eligible Policy (as defined in clause 5), you have been automatically entered into this Promotion and are deemed to have accepted these Terms. If you wish to be removed from this Promotion, please contact Tower using any of the options available here.
   In these Terms:
   
   1. Tower means Tower Limited (Tower), the underwriter of Westpac general insurance policies (Westpac Insurance); and
   2. Westpac means Westpac New Zealand Limited (Westpac).
3. The Promotion commences at 12:00am 1 July 2026 and ends at 11:59pm Saturday 19 September 2026 (Promotion Period).
4. This Promotion is open to you if:
   1. You purchase a new Eligible Policy (as defined in clause 5) from Westpac Insurance (underwritten by Tower) during the Promotion Period; and
   2. that Eligible Policy (as defined in clause 5) has commenced and is in force on the Draw Date (as defined in clause 10); and
   3. By the draw date, Tower has received all payments due in respect of your premium for such Eligible Policy, either:
      1. in full for annual payment; or
      2. at least the first instalment and any subsequent payments due if your payment method is by instalments.
5. (For the purposes of this Promotion, an Eligible Policy means any new, Tower underwritten, Westpac Insurance branded House (Premium, Plus or Standard), Contents (Premium, Plus or Standard), Car (Comprehensive, Third Party Fire and Theft, Third Party), Landlord or Boat insurance policy and excludes any other insurance policies underwritten by Tower.
6. Tower permanent employees and their respective immediate families are not eligible to enter this Promotion. Customers who receive a discount on Tower policies via an arrangement between Tower and Westpac are not eligible to enter this Promotion.
7. There is one entry per Eligible Policy purchased in accordance with these Terms (i.e., purchase two Eligible Policies and receive two entries).
8. There are twenty five (25) Prizes to be won for this Promotion and the winners (Prize Winners) will each receive NZ$2,000.
9. The Prize Winners will be determined by a random draw conducted by Tower from all valid entries on 20 October 2026 (Draw Date). The Prize Winner will be notified by Tower by email within five working days from the Draw Date.
10. Each Prize Winner will be asked to provide Tower with their full contact details (including first name, last name, email address, phone number, address and bank account) within 10 working days of the Prize Winner being notified.
    If, Tower is unable to contact a Prize Winner within 10 working days of the Prize Winner being drawn or a Prize Winner does not provide the information requested by Tower as set out above in clause 10, Tower reserves the right to pay the prize into the premium payment bank account that the insurance policy premiums are paid from.
    
11. If these terms are not met, Tower reserves the right to withdraw the Prize and/or redraw a new Prize Winner.
12. Tower will obtain written permission prior to using a Prize Winners's personal information (including their name, photograph, city and/or town) for marketing and/or publicity purposes by Tower or Westpac in connection with this Promotion. If consent is provided, this information may also be published on Westpac’s website, and/or social media networks, and in communications without compensation.
13. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta Platforms and you fully release Facebook, Instagram and Meta Platforms, Inc. from any liability or responsibility for or in connection with this Promotion.13. 14. Policy terms, conditions, exclusions, limits, sub-limits and underwriting criteria apply in respect of all policies.
15. Westpac and Tower reserve the right to, at their discretion: 
    1. cancel this Promotion prior to expiry of the Promotion Period; and/or
    2. add policies to the list of Eligible Policies; and/or
    3. change, extend, suspend, terminate, or re-schedule any part or all of the Promotion at any time
16. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Westpac and Tower and their related companies, employees and agents or bankers will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or cost (including but not limited to loss of profits, direct loss, indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with entering this Promotion or accepting the Prize.
17. All entries remain the property of Tower. All personal information will be collected and stored by Tower in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. Tower will use the entrants' personal information to conduct the Promotion. Entrants have the right to access and request correction and deletion of personal information held by Tower. Please see Tower's Privacy Statement. The personal information of Prize Winners will also be shared with Westpac (as set out in clause 12 above) and will be handled in accordance with Westpac’s Privacy Policy.
18. The Prize Winner is fully responsible for any tax implications arising from accepting the prize.
19. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify a consumer's rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or any other statutory rights that the winner may have in relation to the prize.

22. These Terms are governed by New Zealand law and disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
