Why can't I set up a payment from my Westpac Bonus Saver account?
You can make online payments directly from your Westpac Bonus Saver account, but can't establish an Automatic payment from or link it to an EFTPOS card.
These accounts are designed to be dedicated savings accounts, with your main transaction account doing all your day-to-day banking.
To use your savings to make a payment, log in to Westpac One® and transfer the money to your Westpac transaction account or the payee directly. (There are no fees for this transfer, however it is important to remember that you can do unlimited withdrawals but bonus interest is only earned as long as on the last business day of the month your balance is $20 greater that the last business day of the month prior. The $20 excludes interest earned on the account and/or Westpac fees charged to the account). If you need to access your money, payments can be made directly out of your Westpac Bonus Saver account.
