Step 1: Check you’re running the most up-to-date operating system on your device:

Step 2: If your device allows the operating system update, then go ahead and update the Westpac One® app:

  • Go to the Google Play store and search Westpac One NZ Mobile Banking
  • Select Update to download the latest version of the app
  • After the update is complete select Open to launch the latest version of the app.

Step 3: If steps 1 and 2 don’t work, then you’ll need to consider upgrading to a new device. Your mobile provider will be able to assist you with this process.

Step 4: Alternatively, if a new device isn’t an option, then use a desktop computer to access Westpac One online banking.
