Why does the purchase location show against my transaction in my wallet?

You may have location services turned on for Google Pay™ or Apple Pay™ which means that the location of your purchases will show up in your wallet.

To turn location services on or off:

For Android:
  1. Go to Settings > Location > App-level permissions > Google Wallet
  2. Choose between
    • Allow all the time
    • Allow only while using the app
    • Ask every time and
    • Don’t allow.
For iPhone:
  1. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Wallet
  2. Choose between
    • Never
    • Ask Next Time Or When I Share and
    • While using the app.
