How do I make a tax payment?

It's easy to make tax payments using Westpac One® digital banking.

If using your Westpac One app, select Pay & Transfer, then select Pay Tax at the top of the screen.

Or, if you're using Westpac One online, select Pay & Transfer and select the Set up a payment to pay tax link at the top of the screen.

Then follow these steps:

1. Select the account you wish to pay from.
2. Select Enter tax details and select the type of tax from the list.
3. Enter IRD or GST number and period end. Select Done.
4. Enter the tax amount.
5. If you want to pay this on a different date, select the date field and your preferred date on the calendar.
6. Select Continue.
7. Check the details are correct and select Confirm payment.
