How do cashback offers work for additional and joint cardholders?
Joint cardholders.
If you’re a joint hotpoints credit cardholder, you’ll get personalised cashback offers based on how you use your card.
You can opt in or out of cashback offers, or getting emails from us about cashback offers, and it won't affect offers or emails for your other joint cardholder.
Additional cardholders.
If you’re an additional cardholder, you won't get personalised offers, but you can use your card to redeem any offer made to the primary cardholder.
The primary cardholder needs to activate the cashback offer before the additional cardholder can use their card to meet the offer conditions.
The cashback will be credited to the primary cardholder's account.
