Yes you can, at many of our ATMs.

Smart ATMs accept deposits, as do some standard ATMs with Business Deposit Units attached. The process to deposit funds will vary according to the type of ATM being used (Smart ATM or standard ATM), and the type of account you are depositing to.  Follow the on screen prompts for a step-by-step guide.

To make payments safer, Westpac customers will need to use their Westpac card when making cash deposits to Westpac personal accounts at our ATMs. You can use your Westpac card for deposits, even if it isn’t linked to the account you’re depositing into. Customers from other banks should talk to their bank about other payment options to Westpac personal accounts.

Cash deposited directly into a Smart ATM will appear in the account and be immediately available. Deposits made into a Business Deposit Unit using a Red Bag will be credited on the next day after clearance. Each ATM has signage showing its clearance frequency.

If you're not using a Westpac card at an ATM to pay bills or non-personal accounts, you’ll need to provide your name when making a deposit.
