How do I view, edit and delete direct debit templates in Westpac One Business?
View a direct debit template.
- Select Direct debits from the left-hand menu.
- Select Direct debit templates.
- Search for the template, then select View.
- This will open the template details screen where you can edit or delete the template.
Edit a direct debit template.
These instructions are for templates with fewer than 50 transactions. If the template has more than 50 transactions you can only remove transactions, edit the statement details or update amounts.
- Select Direct debits from the left-hand menu.
- Select Direct debit templates.
- Search for the template, then select Edit.
- Edit the template. You can:
- Edit the Template name
- Change the To account
- Edit the Authorisation code and Batch identifier
- Edit the Particulars, Code, or Transaction note
- Select or deselect Appear on statement as multiple single direct debits.
- Add or remove transactions
- Update the Amount
- Select Next.
- (Optional) Edit the payer details. You can:
- Add or remove a payer
- Edit the Particulars, Code, or Reference
- Change the Amount.
- Select Next.
- Review your changes, then select:
- Back to continue editing
- Save template to save your changes.
Delete a direct debit template.
- Select Direct debits from the left-hand menu.
- Select Direct debit templates.
- Find the template you want to edit, then select Delete.
- Confirm you want to delete the template.
Note: Once a direct debit template has been deleted it cannot be reinstated. You’ll need to create a new direct debit.
