How do I make foreign currency account transfers in Westpac One Business?
Learn how to make, manage and approve transfers to or from your Westpac One Business foreign currency accounts.
Make a new foreign currency account transfer.
- Select Pay & Transfer, then select Foreign currency account transfer.
- Select the account to transfer from.
- Select the account to transfer to.
- Enter an amount under From or To to view the exchange rate.
- (Optional) Enter statement details.
- Select either:
- Save draft to finish the transfer later
- Next to review the transfer details.
- Review the transfer details.
- Select Back if you need to make changes.
- Select Confirm and pay to approve the transfer or submit it for approval.
Manage or approve foreign currency account transfers.
You can manage and approve foreign currency account transfers from the Manage payments and transfers screen.
The process for editing, deleting, or approving foreign currency account transfers is the same as for other payment types. There are a few additional things to be aware of when approving foreign currency account transfers:
- Exchange rates are valid for up to five minutes from when the payment was created.
- If more than five minutes have passed select Refresh on the Approve transfer screen for the updated exchange rate.
- If you do not approve the payment before the cut off time and date, the transfer date will move to the next banking day.
