What if I cancel my hotpoints or change to another kind of card?

It’s easy to change your hotpoints credit card to a different kind of credit card, but make sure you redeem your hotpoints before you do.

Unfortunately, we can’t convert hotpoints to Airpoints Dollars™ .

Once you’ve asked us to close your hotpoints card, we’ll remove it from your Westpac One® digital banking profile and you can't use it anymore. This also removes the link to log in to the hotpoints® website. 

Your hotpoints will expire 90 days from the date your card is closed. During this 90-day expiry period, you’ll need to call us on 0800 861 862 weekdays between 8am and 6pm to:

  • Check your hotpoints balance
  • Redeem hotpoints
  • Use hotpoints Pay® for a purchase.
