Do you offer secure storage for documents and valuables?

Yes we do. Westpac has one Safe Deposit Centre at 79 Queen Street, Auckland CBD.

Our Safe Deposit Box is a personal plastic box contained in a stainless steel locker where you can securely store documents and items of personal value.

Annual fee for Westpac customers:

  • Regular box (78mm x 255mm x 600mm): $200 including GST
  • Large box (265mm x 255mm x 600mm): $600 including GST.

Annual fee for Non-Westpac customers:

  • Regular box (78mm x 255mm x 600mm): $200 including GST
  • Large box (265mm x 255mm x 600mm): $800 including GST.

An appointment time of up to two hours is required to open contracts, and change owners/access agents.

When you start the contract, there’s a one-off key bond of $340 for the two keys you’ll be given. You’ll get this money back when the contract ends, as long as both keys are returned.

  • Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 4pm
  • Last access granted at 3.50pm.

Note: The Safe Deposit Box Centre is closed Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
