Agribusiness.
What you can expect
You will learn about how we deliver banking services and support to the back-bone of the New Zealand economy, the farming sector. From dairy and livestock farming to fruit, vegetable and crop growing.
Our staff are specialists in the delivery of banking solutions for our farming customers, with many of our staff coming from a farming background themselves. We have a deep understanding and commitment to our agriculture and horticulture customers.
Who do we want?
Anyone with a passion for our farming communities, who wants to be part of serving the farming sector. You may have studied a relevant discipline such as Agri, Business or Finance, have business acumen, or a background in Agriculture/ Agribusiness.
Where will you work?
We have locations across the motu (island), from Whangarei to Invercargill and everywhere in between.
Future career opportunities:
Grow your career as an Agribusiness Analyst or Agribusiness Manager and work your way up to Agribusiness Portfolio Manager or Agribusiness Area Manager.
Customer facing.
What you can expect
Our customer facing roles work with our consumer and business clients. You’ll work alongside our consumer and business banking teams in areas such as the branch network, relationship management teams, operational support and strategy. There’s lots of room to grow your career across our Consumer and Business Banking teams.
Who do we want?
Graduates from a wide range of disciplines can succeed in our customer facing roles; majors in Finance, Business or Accounting will help but your passion for serving our customers and building relationships is the real plus for these roles.
Where will you work?
We have locations across the motu (island), from Whangarei to Invercargill and everywhere in between.
Future career opportunities:
A wide range of opportunities await you in either our Consumer or Business banking teams. You could move into a Banking Specialist role providing lending services to retail customers or into a Credit Analyst, Business Consultant, Relationship Consultant or Associate level role across our Institutional and Business Banking teams, where you will cement your skills to progress your career with Westpac.
Product, Sustainability & Marketing.
What you can expect
Our Product, Sustainability and Marketing team create and deliver positive experiences and solutions for our customers and communities. Explore concepts such as divergent thought, design, collaboration, customer journey mapping and transformation.

Who do we want?
We call grads from all disciplines with a strong interest in: Sustainability, Products, Experience and User Design, Brand & Marketing and Data.
Future career opportunities:
You could be a product or data analyst, product manager, marketing specialist, or join our Customer Experience and Design team. You may have a passion for sustainability and become a Sustainability Manager or join External Affairs and become a Media Relations Advisor.
Risk.
What you can expect
Use your analytical skills to support our risk-aware organisation. You’ll work to understand frameworks, strategies, regulatory, legislative and business obligations.
Who do we want?
Any majors in maths and statistics, actuarial studies, computer science, physics, engineering, finance or business. Bring your problem solving abilities, quantitative aptitude and leadership potential.

What you can expect
