We actively support our employees' community interests and professional development through our volunteer day programme.
Community spirit and willingness to lend a hand is an integral part of our culture. Our employees have a long history of rolling up their sleeves to support local communities, from bucket shaking for Chopper, facilitating Managing Your Money workshops to being a business mentor for a social enterprise just getting started.
Our approach to volunteering is to provide support through volunteering leave for employees to volunteer with organisations they are passionate about. We encourage our employees to use their time and skills by providing a range of general and skilled volunteering opportunities.
Each year, employees get one paid day’s volunteer leave to get involved in a community activity of their choice.
