Dementia friendly banking
In 2015, Westpac became New Zealand’s first dementia friendly bank to support Kiwis affected by dementia.
Westpac's been awarded the DVFREE Tick which recognises our comprehensive domestic violence programme that provides a safe and supportive workplace for employees who are experiencing domestic violence.
We collaborated with SeniorNet to help communities over the age of 50 make the most of current and future banking technologies.

The awards take place all around the country in conjunction with the local Chamber of Commerce to give businesses the opportunity to benchmark their success against other local businesses.
