Richie McCaw

Westpac ambassador since 2007.

Richie McCaw is widely respected as a one of the world’s most accomplished sportspeople and admired for his professionalism, sincerity and humility. He is the most capped test rugby player of all time, and has won the World Rugby Player of the Year award a record three times.

Richie has been a Westpac ambassador for over a decade and has a vision to inspire and motivate New Zealanders to prosper and grow. Through the Westpac Kids Training Days, and his dedication to the Westpac Rescue Helicopters and iSPORT Foundation Richie is involved with communities throughout New Zealand.

Richie’s recent transition from professional rugby player to business director, pilot and adventure racer inspires New Zealanders to embrace change, and to grow through experience and learning.

As a Christchurch local, Richie was a key representative for Westpac following the Christchurch earthquakes and is passionate about supporting Cantabrians through the rebuild.

We are incredibly proud to have Richie working with us to help inspire, grow and encourage New Zealanders to be the best they can be.
