Westpac up and running on Monday after Paraparaumu fire

Westpac’s Paraparaumu branch will be up and running on Monday 22 February, after a serious fire caused extensive damage to its Coastlands building early Wednesday morning.

Westpac’s Area Manager Alice Cappleman says Westpac staff have worked very hard to establish a temporary branch at an empty site just inside the new entrance to Coastlands Mall, opposite the Foodcourt, on the right.

“The fire has been pretty devastating for our staff, but we’ve all pulled together through this. We’ll be open for cash transactions from Monday and we’ll be delighted to see our customers in our temporary premises,” she said.

“We do apologise for the inconvenience caused to our customers, and we want to assure them that we’re still open for business, in spite of this set back.”

Westpac has 6700 customers at its Coastlands Branch.
