Leanne Lazarus, GM Operations & Contact Centres

Leanne was appointed General Manager Operations & Contact Centres in August 2015. In this role, she is responsible for a portfolio that includes Operations, Contact Centres, Property Services, Commercial Services and Westpac’s Process Centre of Excellence.

Leanne has over 25 years of experience in banking and financial services, having held a number of senior executive roles leading large teams and driving transformational change across diverse cultures. Leanne has worked in Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Before joining Westpac, Leanne spent 17 years in senior and executive roles at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ), where she has led teams of up to 6,000 people.

As an advocate for Diversity and Inclusion, Leanne is the executive sponsor of Westpac’s Cultural Diversity employee action group (EAG).

Leanne has an MBA and is also a Black Belt accredited Lean Six Sigma practitioner.
