“It’s great Westpac offers hijab as part of their uniform. Everyone I’ve worked with has fully accepted my choice of clothing and I’ve been welcomed to the team since I started a few weeks ago.”
Gina Dellabarca, Westpac NZ GM Human Resources & Corporate Affairs, says there’s a strong focus Inclusion and Diversity at Westpac.
“To be relevant to both our customers and our employees we want to openly embrace different cultural needs and beliefs.”
“Creating an environment where absolutely everyone feels valued and respected is great for our people and great for business. Above all we want to make sure all of our people feel comfortable in themselves at work.”
