The For Everyone Charitable Foundation has released its brand new song “Song For Everyone” to raise money to help fund small community projects with its grants of $5,000 or less.
Founded by Richie McCaw, Dan Carter, and Ali Williams, For Everyone has helped fund more than 80 projects since it started in 2009
“Song for Everyone” was written by artists Vince Harder, Jon Hume from Evermore and Liz Webber, and attracted a crowd of kiwi artists from all over NZ and Australia keen to get behind the cause and help out. These included Stan Walker; Annie Crummer, Boh Runga, winner of NZ’s Got Talent Clara van Wel; winner of The X Factor New Zealand Jackie Thomas; Andy Lynch from The Feelers, Whenua Patuwai, Maisey Rika, Donald McNulty and Feleti Strickson-Pua from Nesian Mysik, Iva Lamkum, Lizzie Marvelly, Moorhouse and Titanium.
For Everyone has partnered with Westpac to help increase the number of New Zealanders and communities it can reach.
REDnews was there at the song’s launch to catch up with Richie McCaw and some of the amazing artists that gave of their free time to record the song.
