Friday 8 July, 2016 marks the end of Sir Peter Blake Trust Leadership Week, and is also Red Socks Day.
Our CEO, David McLean, has his on. Do you have yours?
If so, take a photo and share it on Twitter or Instagram with #RedSocksDay or #RedSocks.
What is Red Socks Day all about?
As the Trust say on their website:
"In 1995 one of our greatest New Zealanders did an extraordinary thing. He pulled on a humble pair of red socks and took on the most powerful teams in the world to win one of the oldest and most coveted sporting trophies.
"Now, over 20 years later, those red socks have become a tribute to Sir Peter Blake and a symbol of what we love most about being kiwis.
"Buy your pair from a participating North Island New World supermarket or online at www.redsocks.co.nz before they run out!"
Over 30,000 Kiwi students were inspired this week thanks to the amazing events organised by The Sir Peter Blake Trust.
