Westpac is committed to helping create a better New Zealand by enabling our customers, communities and people to prosper and grow.

Today we've launched our Westpac 2017 Sustainability review, which highlights what we've done over the past year to support NZ.

Some of our highlights are:

  •     Maintained carbon neutrality and reduced our emissions by 21%

  •     Increased lending to the CleanTech services sector to $1.3 billion

  •     Increased women in leadership to 52.4%

  •     Supported the Middlemore Foundation’s Mana-ā-Riki pilot programme which has, a year and half in, delivered more than 1000 Chromebooks into classrooms, provided health services to 1090 children and treated around 900 cases of preventable illness

  •     Delivered Managing Your Money workshops to nearly 5,000 people
