Transforming information for farmers
Levno is an innovative early stage agri-tech company, leading a transformation in the agriculture sector in New Zealand by providing farmers with the vital information they need.
Their patented sensor hardware can continuously and remotely monitor fuel tanks, milk vats, and water meters so farmers can understand what's really going on in their milk vat, fuel storage, water delivery or irrigation.
The sensors, linked to unique Bluetooth tech and transmit to a super-simple dashboard on phone and PC, can alert farmers when fuel is removed and when it is running low and also be passed onto supplier to improve their logistics.
And clearly there is growing demand for the product with 850 farms already using the fuels sensors, expanding to 2,000 by the end of the year.
Ensuring farmers are compliant with upcoming MPI regulations, their milk sensors measure temperature, volume, and agitation of the milk vat, with currently 150 farms using them. Levno hope that by the end of the year this number will be 1,500.
