Getting better but enhanced functionality would be great

Westpac One is starting to grow on me, but it still lacks some basic functionality. The first is a Secure Mail function, which is standard across most NZ banks, and increasingly important in the time of COVID-19. Rather than waiting on hold for hours during a lockdown or when you can’t reach a branch, it would be great to send a secure email for assistance and then wait 2-3 or even 5 days for a response. This would allow the bank to better triage customer service requests, keep customer frustration down and avoid testy phone conversations with customer service representatives (the ones I’ve dealt with have been excellent, thanks Westpac), and end up with better time usage for everyone. The second functionality I’d like to see is the ability to save the details for international payees. Having to input this data every time I want to send money to a family member overseas is a real pain. It would be great to save the details like we can for NZ payees. Thanks for your consideration.

Whoever is working on this app, I would like to thank. The app is just so simple and easy to use, whilst also having all of the the info you would ever need. After the last update with the digital card, I thought to myself, "who even asked for this". BUT THATS THE THING, even though the app is perfect at doing what it is supposed to, the dev's go and make it BETTER! Like, I never even thought of having a digital card, but honestly, this is going to save me so time. Thank You Westapc One Devs.

Authentication Issues

I've generally found the app to work well, but authentication issues have been making it unusable. One of the main benefits of using the app over using the website should be that I can quickly and easily sign in: this is not the case. I'm constantly met with errors the majority of the times I attempt to sign in using both touch ID and PIN. I've contacted support before, with the only advice being to fully reinstall the app and clear browsing data in Safari which temporarily fixes the issue but then it comes back with a vengeance. At this stage, it has been almost a week where I've not been able to successfully authenticate a single time despite trying multiple times a day. I cannot use this app if I have to reinstall it every couple of weeks just to be able to sign in.

Recently it hasn’t even gotten to that point. The last few days it will recognise my face and then freeze. It will stay on the pin page but I can’t put my pin in or do anything at all. It is shocking that an app which is constantly updated has never been able to fix this issue despite some of the responses to reviews claiming to do so. All I want is to login without having to restart the app 2-4 times each time.
