What to do if your Westpac credit or debit card is lost or stolen. How to get emergency assistance if you are overseas.

1. How to block a credit card. 

You can now temporarily block your card through Westpac One. Card Blocker allows you to temporarily block and unblock your card instantly if it's been lost. When you find your card you can simply unblock it. To learn how, click here.

2. Report a lost or stolen credit card or Debit Mastercard® to us immediately

Please contact us immediately if:

  • your credit card or Debit Mastercard is lost or stolen
  • your PIN is disclosed
  • if you suspect a fraudulent transaction

  • for Mastercard cards and Visa cards, visit any branch displaying the Mastercard and Cirrus acceptance marks or Visa and Plus symbols, as shown on your card

We’ll issue you with a replacement card (a fee of $15 including standard postage applies. International delivery may incur additional courier charges).
