Business Mastercard®

Give your employees the flexibility to pay for work-related expenses on a credit card, while gaining a complete overview of their activities.

Key features

Keep control, reduce costs, increase efficiency

• Ensure your employees can always pay their way, wherever they are. Mastercard is accepted at over 38 million locations worldwide.

• Minimise misuse. Set controls on individual cards that determine how, where and when cards can be used.

• Reduce the cost of processing with an online Expense Management System of your choice, or have your transaction data delivered directly into your internal accounting/finance system.

• Manage expenses electronically and help minimise interest costs.

Customise every card

• You can customise your card design to reflect your corporate identity (a minimum print run and fees apply).

Expense Management Systems

Integrate your Mastercard BusinessCard facility with an expense management system (EMS) for a powerful business solution. Using leading web-based reporting, an EMS gives your business additional control, more comprehensive reporting and better management over daily expenditure.

Enhanced business spending oversight

Your transaction data is delivered to your chosen EMS, giving you:

• Increased visibility of, and accountability for, transactions.
• Enhanced reporting functions that highlight potential problems.
• Exception reporting to manage card usage.

An EMS to suit your business

Integrate your Westpac Mastercard BusinessCard with virtually any EMS, including (but not limited to):

• Smart Data Generation 2 (Business or Corporate versions)
• Fraedom
• Concur
• Pro Master

Alternatively, your transaction data can be delivered directly to your accounting or finance system such as SAP, Oracle, TechnologyOne or MYOB.

Purchase Profile®

Admin, simplified. Control the use of multiple credit cards and have an up-to-date view of spending with Westpac's Purchase Profile®.

Purchase Profile is an effective, quick and low-cost tool available with Mastercard BusinessCard®. It lets you apply spending controls to individual employee cards, and determine how when and where cards can be used. Manage it all in real time, online.

See how Purchase Profile works

Five ways to help you keep purchases under control

1. Spend controls. Real time controls can be set at card and transaction levels. This makes spending policies easier to enforce, and helps you delegate spending responsibilities with greater peace of mind. It also helps with budgeting and fraud control.

2. Email alerts. You can pre-set email alerts, so your administrator receives a notification if individual card use exceeds pre-defined controls.

3. Transaction blocking. Define what your employees can and can’t use their credit card for. If a card has been used for an unauthorised purchase a notification email will be sent to your business. You have the option of declining any transaction that falls outside your pre-set criteria, or simply being informed after the transaction has been processed.

4. Online self-service portal. With 24/7 online access, Purchase Profile is simple to use, quick to implement and gives you greater visibility of employee spending.

5. Reports. Online reports provide you with a highly detailed view of card usage. Track credit card spending, adjust controls and manage cash flow and budgets more efficiently.
