Ten-time Paralympic medallist Sophie Pascoe has been a Westpac Ambassador since 2010.

Sophie made New Zealand history at the London 2012 Paralympics Games claiming an incredible six medals from six events – three Golds and three Silvers – and at the recent Rio 2016 Paralympics claimed the title of New Zealand’s most successful Paralympian of all time with another three Golds and two Silvers. We’re extremely proud to be backing this truly inspirational Kiwi.

Sophie is an accomplished motivational speaker and a strong advocate for the equality of disabled athletes with their able-bodied counterparts. She has made a significant impact as a role-model for many school-age students, inspiring them to chase their dreams. She is a great example of overcoming life’s challenges and putting in the hard yards to reach your goals.

As a Westpac Ambassador, Sophie gives inspirational talks to students who themselves may have been through adversity. She also spends time representing Westpac at women’s networking groups, sharing her journey and thoughts on goal setting, self-belief, hard work and success.

Westpac is incredibly proud of Sophie’s achievements, and we are honoured to have her working with us as a Westpac Ambassador, helping our communities and people to prosper and grow.
