What do I need to apply?

When applying for a loan, we know that you want the process to be transparent, efficient and above all, easy so you know what you're getting and how much you'll be paying.

In the application we’ll ask you a few questions about your finances and personal details.

Once you’ve completed the application, we may also need to see some documents, as listed below. For those of you applying online, we’ll contact you about the best way to get these to us.

1. Identification

2. Proof of your income

If we can see income deposits into your Westpac account this may be all we need. Otherwise we’ll need one of the following:

  • a recent bank statement showing your last three consecutive income deposits; or
  • a current payslip showing your annual income or your last three consecutive payslips; or
  • an original, signed and current letter from your employer confirming your income details and term of employment

3. Other loan statements

If you are refinancing existing debts we will want to see your bank and/or finance company original statements showing repayments for the last 3 months.
