There are some things you should know about the timing of making payments…
Online Banking transactions completed before 10pm on a business day are processed that night (but amending or cancelling future-dated payments and transfers processing today have a 9pm cut-off)
i.e. a payment made at 10.10pm on a Tuesday will show in the receiving account on Thursday.

Online Banking transactions completed after 10pm will be processed the next business day
i.e. a payment made at 10.10pm on a Friday will show in the receiving account on the following Tuesday.

If you have set a transaction or payment for a day that falls on a weekend or national public holiday, then the money will be held until the next business day when full processing takes place, or until the transaction is cancelled (where cancellation is possible)
> More about planned payments falling on a weekend or public holiday
Cancel transactions
Payments you make to other people in Online Banking can be cancelled up to 10pm on the day they were created and seen in the ‘Cancel a payment made today’ menu on the ‘Transfer money/Pay anyone’ screen
transfers between your accounts can’t be cancelled
> More about cancelling transactions
If you notice an unauthorised transaction on your account
as a precaution, change your password immediately
where possible, cancel the transaction using the ‘Cancel a payment made today’ menu on the ‘Transfer money/Pay anyone’ screen
