Because you invest a lump sum for a fixed term, you can't transfer funds to or from your Term Deposit during its term.
But in emergencies or other special circumstances, you can withdraw part or all of your investment before the term ends (subject to Westpac approval). Your interest rate will reduce for the amount you withdraw, and any amount still invested in the same account.
We'll send you a reminder when your Term Deposit is due to end - so you can get on with business while your money works for you.
